Windmoor Healthcare is seeking a dynamic and talented Admissions Registered Nurse to join our team! We are located in beautiful Clearwater Florida and we are a comprehensive behavioral health care facility with 144 beds that provides a wide range of inpatient and partial hospitalization programs and services. Our facility has been providing adult patients intensive treatment of dual diagnosis issues and the comprehensive approach is highly individualized, designed to guide patients and their families through the process of intervention, assessment and treatment. The RN will be responsible for completing assessment and admissions activities for inpatient units and works as a liaison with both the Nursing and Intake Departments.

Key Responsibilities include :

• Ensures prompt responses to patient and referral needs
• Provides clinical assessments
• Assures appropriateness of risk assessments, crisis interventions and referrals to level of care.
• Position Requirements:
• Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program.
• 5 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse preferred.
• 1 years’ experience in behavioral healthcare nursing, preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Florida.
