Responsibilities:
The Maintenance and Housekeeping Supervisor under the direction of the Director of Plant Operations will provide leadership direction and management oversight for continuous improvement of Maintenance and the standard EVS operation model within the facility. Provides staff leadership and makes business decisions in support of the hospital's mission and vision. Demonstrates leadership by providing an optimal environment for patient care, safety, service and value. Manages the daily operations of the department and ensures a consistently high level of cleanliness and aesthetics to patients, visitors and staff. Assist in assuring that the physical plant is maintained in a clean, safe and orderly condition as required by regulating agencies and to promote a safe and clean environment of care.
Qualifications:
Education: Completion of High School Diploma or its equivalent, required. Associate degree or Bachelors, preferred.
Experience: A minimum of five (3) years experience in a leadership role and a minimum of 3 years of experience maintenance and environmental services duties, preferably in a healthcare facility.
