Windom Area Health is seeking a self-directed and highly motivated individual for a full-time Medical Records Coder position. The position is responsible for managing and coding a variety of outpatient and inpatient records using ICD-10-CM/PCS and CPT coding systems, obtaining admission certification from third party payers for inpatient admissions, conducting qualitative and quantitative analysis, and computing statistical reports. Qualified candidates must be credentialed as an RHIT, CPC, or CCS, or achieve designation within 6 months. Candidates must have knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and familiarity with working on claim denials. Weekday hours. Work from home options available, after training period.
