Residential Window and Door Sales Representative
Window and Door Design Center of Florida (WDDC) is a full-service company that specializes in architectural impact windows and doors.
WDDC is looking for a qualified, motivated candidate to help deliver exceptional service to our customers, and drive sales of residential high-end window products and installation services. We believe in developing and fostering long-term relationships with satisfied clients, rather than one-time sales of products.
The ideal candidate has the ability and confidence to communicate effectively (in-person, on the phone, and through email/text) with builders, suppliers, and homeowners to ensure that expectations are set and customers receive what they are expecting. The ideal candidate should also have great attention to detail to ensure that the window package is as intended, good problem-solving ability to take advantage of opportunities to provide solutions to clients, and the desire to learn and expand their product knowledge.
On the technical side, the candidate must be able to read construction plans, have general Excel knowledge and ability to navigate Windows and modern computer programs proficiency, and strong math and time management skills.
For experience, the ideal candidate should have a background in construction and either retail, window sales, or B2B sales experience.
Knowledge of windows and manufacturers is preferred, but not required as long as the candidate has the patience and willingness to learn, the ability to call on clients, and the emotional control to handle the challenges and rejections that come with the sales process.
Required:
Construction experience
Retail or window sales experience or B2B sales experience
Microsoft Excel experience
Proficiency with Windows-based computer software
Ability to read construction plans
Strong Math and Time Management skills
Preferred:
Technical background (engineering, etc)
