What are the responsibilities and job description for the Window and Door Service Technician Apprentice position at Window Pros, Inc?
Window Pros Inc is based in Plainfield, IL and services the Chicagoland area. We are an installer and service provider for one the of the nation's largest window and door manufacturers. At Window Pros we install windows, patio units, exterior doors and glass replacement. In addition to installation we provide service and warranty work to existing and new customers.
Window Pros Inc is seeking a hardworking, dependable and self motivated individual to join our team as our technician apprentice. This great opportunity will provide you with hands-on experience with servicing and installing windows, patio doors and front entry doors. Once your apprenticeship is completed (TIME FRAME FOR COMPLETION VARY BASED ON PERFORMANCE-COULD BE 1 YEARS) the intent will be for you to become a full time service/installer technician with our team!
Skill Requirements/Qualifications:
- Reliable transportation
- Clean driving record
- Drivers License
- General tool knowledge
- Be able to lift over 50lbs
- Desire to work with your hands
- Previous construction experience desired but not required
- Have great attention to detail and consistency
- A willingness to learn Window Pros Inc service/install methods
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to be an effective addition to Window Pros and display initiative
- Availability to work Monday to Friday
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No nights
- No weekends
