Primary Function:
The Sales Executive sells our company's catering services by approaching potential customers, winning new business, and maintaining relationships with existing clients for repeat business. You will have the opportunity to develop and execute sales strategies, grow your client portfolio, and manage high-profile catered events.
The candidate for this position will excel at creating and closing new opportunities. By using a consultative approach to selling, this person will use their expertise to identify and qualify leads, leading to sales opportunities with both new and existing customers.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales plans and strategies to meet and exceed sales goals.
- Proactively solicit and secure new accounts while maintaining and growing existing accounts.
- Prepare tailored proposals for clients and potential customers.
- Manage complex negotiations with senior-level executives.
- Build rapport and ensure client satisfaction by delivering exceptional service and creative catering solutions.
- Plan, supervise, and evaluate contracted events, from intimate gatherings to large-scale corporate functions.
- Conduct post-event follow-ups to ensure client satisfaction and encourage rebooking.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality, business, or marketing preferred.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in catering, restaurant, event planning, or hospitality industry sales. 3 or more years' quota carrying sales experience.
- Knowledge of menu development, event planning (including social and kosher events), and client relationship management is required.
- Experience and working knowledge of CRM systems.
- Demonstrable track record of over-achieving quota.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
