Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Chef in managing the kitchen operations and food preparation
- Oversee the daily activities of the kitchen staff and ensure smooth workflow
- Collaborate with the culinary team to create and execute menu items
- Ensure that all food is prepared and presented according to established recipes and
quality standards
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff members
- Assist with special events and catering functions as required
What we are looking for-
- Someone self-motivated, ready to start making an impact with our residents.
- Someone w/ Serve Safe Certification or ability to obtain within 30 days.
- Someone passionate about food, and hospitality
- 3 years culinary experience in food service, (Senior living is a plus but willing to teach the right candidate, as we do not have a lot of special diets)
- Must be able to pass a background check
