Platting Coordinator Position Summary
The Platting Coordinator will be responsible for the coordination, preparation, and administration of documents relating to the recordation and submission of platting and related applications as directed by the Platting Manager. The work is performed in an office and in various client and municipal setting(s) with moderate noise levels. This job frequently requires the employee to stand, sit, walk, use hands, read, talk, drive a car, and hear. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. The employee should never attempt to lift more than 50 pounds without proper lifting aids unless otherwise approved by the COO.
Platting Coordinator Position Schedule
Monday through Friday, 7am – 4pm with some weekends required during seasonal months.

Requirements
Platting Coordinator Position Responsibilities
- Position is full-time in a fast-office setting with travel to the various municipalities for appointments
- Maintain email correspondence relating to client communication, internal correspondence, notes, contact information, to facilitate complete project understanding and reference for platting questions.
- Work with Platting Manager, Project Manager, Platting Admin, Platting Tech, and other Platting Coordinators to exchange information for the execution of a superior project that meets our clients’ needs.
- Prepare, deliver & submit recordation packages to appropriate jurisdictional entity as required for review.
- Obtain original tax certificates (when needed), owners’ signatures, lienholder subordination agreements or associated documents as necessary to include in recordation packages to appropriate jurisdictional entities or clients.
- Address minor corrections, coordinate with tax office, title company, city, or county as necessary to obtain information associated with plat applications.
- Obtain and coordinate schedules and delivery dates for plat recordation along with preparing necessary applications for multiple jurisdictions.
- Fully adhere to Windrose policies, procedures, and work directives.
- Resolve internal/external customer issues in a prompt and professional manner.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees, managers, clients, and other parties as related to Windrose services and overall business.
- Perform all duties as assigned to meet business needs in a safe, ethical, and professional manner.
- Stay up to date with changes in municipal codes as required for projects.
- Willingness to learn new skills and processes.
- Other duties as requested by Platting Department Manager.
Platting Coordinator Skills and Experience
- Minimum of high school diploma/GED diploma required; Associates / Technical Degree or higher preferred.
- Background experience in the Title Industry or as a Paralegal preferred. Prior experience with plat administration is a plus.
- Able to communicate and respond to questions in a professional and knowledgeable manner ensuring positive and honest business outcomes.
- Be an assertive problem-solver and action-oriented team player.
- Possess a positive, realistic yet flexible attitude.
- Be able to maintain poise under pressure, and still be committed to superior client service.
- Possess an ability to balance the project workload in an efficient and timely manner.
- Proficient in the independent application and use of job-related software/e-technology/cloud-based solutions.
- Attention to detail is a must
- Valid Driver’s License
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of CAD software such as Autocad and Carlson
- Surveying experience.
