Wellness Director

Job Summary
The Wellness Director is responsible for overseeing the health and wellness programs within our organization. This role involves managing a team of healthcare professionals, ensuring compliance with regulations, and promoting a holistic approach to wellness for residents. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare management, with experience in various care settings including assisted living, hospice care, and home care.

Duties

• Develop and implement wellness programs tailored to the needs of residents.
• Manage budgeting for wellness initiatives and ensure efficient allocation of resources.
• Supervise nursing staff and coordinate nurse management activities.
• Collaborate with case management teams to provide comprehensive care plans.
• Ensure adherence to medical terminology and standards in all health-related documentation.
• Conduct regular assessments of resident health needs and adjust programs accordingly.
• Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding healthcare services.
• Foster a culture of wellness through education and community engagement.

Skills

• Proficient in budgeting and financial management within a healthcare setting.
• Experience in hospice care, assisted living, acute care, and home care environments.
• Strong nurse management skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 per year
