Purpose for the Position: To ensure all revenue is posted to the correct departments and to balance all revenue departments daily and complete all necessary reports.
Essential Responsibilities:
1. Performs all audit procedures as set forth by the Hotel and company, daily.
2. Performs all required audit reports.
3. Verifies the status of all wake-up call requests and ensures they are properly handled.
4. Balances all cash receipts and work performed during the audit shift. Makes deposits of cash.
5. Prepares the front office for ‘A’ Shift and resets day’s business.
6. Acts as a Guest Services Agent during the nighttime hours.
7. Acts as the Manager on Duty during nighttime hours.
8. Attends and actively participates in all front office meetings.
9. Participates in all training and cross training programs.
10. Acts as PBX operator during the audit shift.
11. Supports and adheres to the core values, the mission statement, service fundamentals, and guest service philosophy as defined by the company.
12. Required to be always in uniform when working on the property, including wearing a name identification badge.
13. All other duties as assigned by a manager or supervisor.
Skills and Abilities:
- Understand and use math concepts to design a financial or economic system.
- Work math problems quickly and accurately.
- Understand and use computers and related equipment.
- Speak and write clearly to report financial information.
- Plan and direct the work of accounting clerks and other workers.
- Use eyes, hands, and fingers accurately while operating a switchboard or computer keyboard.
- Deal with the public, customers, employees, union and government officials with tact and courtesy.
- Change activity frequently and cope with interruptions.
Physical Demands: Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally. Requires walking or standing to a significant degree.
Requirements
- High School completion or an equivalent level of education and experience.
- 1-2 years hotel front desk or night audit experience preferred.
Attendance:
Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established by Windsor Hospitality from time to time, is essential to be successful performance of this position. Employees with irregular attendance/ tardies will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment. Upon employment, all employees are required to fully comply with Windsor Hospitality rules and regulations and will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.
