Primary Purpose
Responsible for the upkeep of the guest rooms ensuring that each room undergoes a rigorous service including touch up of walls and doors, full bathroom inspection and repairs. Review of all mechanical, electrical and plumbing appliances including but not limited to drains, faucets, toilet flushers, lighting, HVAC / Heating, TV functionality etc.
This position requires some background in maintenance but also offers on the job training for anyone looking to grow their careers.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of repair and maintenance tasks including but not limited to carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, painting, HVAC and masonry
- Conducts at minimum 4 guest rooms per day in accordance with local standards
- Enters all information into a PM tracker
- Identifies parts and supplies needed to ensure the hotel does not run out of critical guest room components
- Assists in maintaining the physical functionality and safety of the hotel including but not limited to guest rooms, public spaces and HOH
- Reports all issues that are defined as chronic to the chief engineer and or GM to ensure projects can be developed to prevent further damage to property and guest experience
- Follows all Hotel and Brand Safety guidelines
Skills and Abilities:
This position requires a hands-on approach (move, lift, carry, push, pull, and handle objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance). You will be on your feet and moving with purpose (stand, sit, or walk for an extended time).
