Purpose for the Position:
To serve hotel guests during their stay by making it easier and more enjoyable to arrive, check in and stay at the property.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Escorts incoming hotel guests to rooms.
- Assists guests with luggage.
- Inspects guest’s room to ensure that it is in order and that supplies are adequate.
- Explains features of room such as operation of radio, television, telephone, and in-room movie system, etc.
- Offers information pertaining to available services and facilities of hotel, points of interest and entertainment attractions.
- Pages guests in lobby, dining rooms, or other parts of property.
- Delivers messages and runs errands.
- May pick up articles for laundry and valet service, and call taxi for guests.
- May transport guests about property or local area in car or van.
- May keep record of calls for service.
- May deliver packages, suitcases and trunks, and may set up sample rooms.
- All other duties as assigned by a manager or supervisor.

Mathematical Development: Add, subtract, multiply, and divide all unites of measure. Perform the four operations with like common and decimal fractions. Compute ratio, rate, and percent. Draw and interpret bar graphs. Perform arithmetic operations involving all American monetary units.
Language Development: Reading: Passive vocabulary of 5,000-6,000 words. Read at rate of 190-215 words per minute. Read instructions, rules, etc., looking up unfamiliar words in dictionary for meaning, spelling, and pronunciation. Writing: Write sentences, using cursive style, proper punctuation and employing adjectives and adverbs. Speaking: Speak clearly and distinctly with appropriate pauses and emphasis, correct pronunciation, variations in word order, using present, perfect, and future tenses.

Specific Vocational Preparation:
Specific Vocational Preparation includes an occupationally significant combination of: vocational education, apprentice training, in-plant training, on-the-job training, or essential experience in less responsible jobs which lead to the higher job or serving in other jobs.

To do this job, you must have the following licenses or certifications before being hired:
Valid Driver’s License for applicable state and clear driving record supported by Department of Motor Vehicles for same state.

High School completion OR an equivalent level of education and experience.

Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established by WCG, Inc. from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position. Employees with irregular attendance / tardies will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment. Upon employment, all employees are required to fully comply with Windsor Capital Group, Inc. rules and regulations will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.
