We are looking for an enthusiastic nurse to join our team!
As a qualified Assistant Director of Nursing, your job will be to assist the DON in planning, organizing, developing and directing the day to day functions of the nursing department. You will also be managing one of our LTC nursing units to help ensure the highest degree of care is given to our residents.
Requirements:
- Must a hold current nursing license
- ADON experience preferred
- Have up to date CPR certification
Essential job duties below may vary and change as the need of the facility change.
- Participate in QAPI meetings and implement changes.
- Participate in facility surveys
- Complete daily/weekly/monthly reports
- Review new orders for both long term residents and new admissions
- Establish open lines of communication with all nursing personnel
- Taking call as scheduled.
