looking for a Staff Development Coordinator (RN) who will be responsible
for the planning, development, coordination, tracking, and evaluation of the
education programs for Supportive Living. This role is responsible for programs
which include licensed/non-licensed clinical & non-clinical care staff to
comply with community standards as well as Federal Regulations. This role
ensures all education is delivered using various methods (e-Learning class room delivery, clinical setting, one-on-one, and any other
method deemed appropriate such as video, teleconference, etc.) that supports

Staff Development Coordinator Duties:
- Registered Nurse with valid license
- Two years of clinical and/or
supervisory experience required (educational leadership experience preferred)
- Knowledgeable and passionate in
geriatrics, long term care, transitional care and assisted living.
- Must possess a command of the
English language, both written and spoken. Ability to communicate effectively
and maintain working relationships with nursing leadership, staff, co-workers
and the public-verbally, in writing, and through presentation.
- Possess computer experience with
familiarly in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook)
- Competency with web-based training,
computer set-up, and other audio-visual equipment
- Ability to use multiple and varied
training methodologies in order to meet training needs of staff.
- Knowledge of and ability to
incorporate adult learning theory into daily practice (motivational
theory/employee motivation, etc).
- Effectively plan/develop,
coordinate, implement, track and evaluate an education, orientation &
training program for licensed & non-licensed clinical care staff that is
also beneficial to staff across the organization.
- Demonstrated experience managing
organizational change by strategically planned and designed educational
programs.
- Ability to write or modify
curriculum/course content to meet Windsor Care Center’s needs.
- Demonstrate strong leadership.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt
to new industry standards and training.
- Highly organized, willing to be
flexible, and accommodate changing priorities.
- Possess the ability to effectively work with leadership, the
service line team, staff, residents, vendors, and community members.

Working Conditions:
- Works in an office area as well as throughout the facility.
- Moves intermittently during work hours.
- Is subject to frequent interruptions.
