Job Description
The Diagnostic Imaging Specialist is responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients. This role requires a strong foundation in medical sonography and the ability to operate complex equipment with precision.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform sonographic procedures with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Provide exceptional patient care and education.
- Maintain quality control standards in accordance with manufacturer recommendations.
- Collaborate with radiologists to ensure accurate diagnoses.
- Assist with clerical duties and patient transportation as needed.
Requirements
- ARDMS or ARRT registration in Sonography.
- Current BLS certification.
- Prior experience as a practicing Ultrasound Technologist preferred.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
