Cath Lab Tech - 4x9 Day Shift : 0700-4 : 30PM 4 x 9 days M-F Must start with 3-4 weeks for the higher rate. On Call / Weekend Requirements : On call : 10 shifts / month : 1 Friday per month and 6 M-Thurs on call per month; 3 24-hour weekend call shifts per month (no other weekend requirement) Float Requirement : Local Rate within 60 Miles of facility
Requirements : - BLS - ACLS - ARRT or RCIS - MD Board of Physicians certified - 2 years of experience required with Diagnostic Cardiac Cath Lab, Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab, ASD Closures, Cardiac Implant Closure Device, Cardiac Stent Placement, Diagnostic Catheterizations Adult, IABP Placement / Removal, Left heart catheterization, Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI), Right heart catheterization, and Temporary Pacemaker - Electrophysiology (EP) Lab, interventional radiology and special procedures experience preferred ; ep lab skills preferred to include insertion and programming of AICDs, pacemaker insertion and cardiac ablation - must have experience with Accurate monitoring, Equipment set up, Perform EKG lead placement, Prep access site, Recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias, Room circulator, Scrub- maintain sterile field, Vascular Closure Systems (Perclose, StarClose) with procedural Skills Preferred : Isolation Precautions, Use of Rapid Response team - 1 prior travel assignment required Facility Information : Unit Ratio : 5 Cases / Day Patient population : Adults, Geriatrics Scrubs : provided by unit, color ceil blue
