The unit consists of 304 beds and 1500 staff members.
The job requires a conventional 40hour week shift.
The day shift consists of 5 PTs and 2 PTAs. No night shift specified.
The employee will handle 1014 patients per day.
The equipment used includes conventional PT equipment such as tilt tables parallel bars walkers and ex equipment.
The unit uses the Meditech EMR system.
There are no oncall or weekend requirements.
The candidate must have an Idaho license and experience treating acute hospital patients including trauma stroke debility and orthopedics.
Preferred skills include experience with burn patients but it is not necessary.
Typical procedures performed include gait training therapeutic exercise transfers general mobility training and education.
The best personality fit would be someone who is confident gets along well with a multidisciplinary team comfortable communicating with providers and case managers and nurses tolerant of daily change and flexible.
Required certification includes licensure in Idaho.
The employee may be required to float to the ICU General Orthopedics and Debility floors.
