Job Summary (Radiation Therapist Bozeman, MT)
- Position: Radiation Therapist (Radiation Oncology)
- Location: Bozeman, MT
- Contract Length: 13 weeks (Start Date: 5/17/2025)
- Compensation: $3,100 per week
- Shift: Day shift, Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts, 32-40 hours/week (4-5 days)
- Shift Guarantee: 32 hours/week; facility may cancel up to 3 shifts per contract
- Administer radiation therapy to patients under the direction of a Radiation Oncologist
- Localize treatment areas using simulations and simulation radiography (CT, MRI, PET)
- Complete all required treatment documentation
- Educate patients about procedures on the first day of treatment
- Ensure safety regulations regarding ionizing radiation are followed for self and patients; report any incidents to Medical Physicist
- Attend weekly chart rounds and monthly department meetings
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy school
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification
- Registered with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Sound judgment, patience, and professionalism
- Tact, discretion, sensitivity, and confidentiality
- Ability to perform in a busy and stressful environment
- Ability to learn and use current/new computer applications and office equipment
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to analyze, organize, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines
