Breakfast Server

Overview
Hello! Our hotel is currently looking for a part-time server to work for Tuesday & Thursday. Weekends are not mandatory at the moment but must be available upon request! We are looking for a morning person who can serve as well as assist guests with any breakfast needs they may have!

Duties

• Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring they feel welcome and valued.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS.
• Provide recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience.
• Ensure timely delivery of food and drinks to tables while maintaining attention to detail.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and sanitizing surfaces.
• Handle cash register transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing tips.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and address any guest concerns promptly.

Experience

• Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous; training will be provided for the right candidate.
• Strong communication skills with an emphasis on guest relations.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing tabs effectively.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
• A commitment to cleanliness and sanitation practices within the restaurant.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.75 - $18.00 per hour
