Full Time Psychiatrist
Job Summary :
The Psychiatry Physician position is a full-time employed Monday - Friday schedule. Patient care caseload with adult patients in the inpatient program. Duties include admissions, evaluations, and daily care of the assigned patients and treatment team leadership. A very competitive compensation package of full-time salary will be offered. The ideal candidate will be BE / BC in Psychiatry or finishing fellowship training with experience in an Inpatient behavioral health services environment. All patient care is provided in a multidisciplinary treatment setting with a team comprised of psychiatrists, counselors, professional nurses, social workers and other therapists.
Qualifications
Education : M.D. or D.O. degree and must have completed ACGME accredited psychiatry residency and two years of psychiatry fellowship training.
Board Eligible or Board Certified Psychiatrist.
Professional License : Must have a current license and registration from the Ohio Board of Medical Examiners.
Experience :
- Knowledge of appropriate assessment and evaluation tools, tests, diagnoses and interventions with patients.
- Knowledge of milieu management.
- Advanced skills in medication management.
- Knowledge of acute patient psychological disorders.
- Advanced knowledge of principles of abnormal psychology.
- Knowledge of young, middle and older adult populations and interventions specific to treatment issues concerning developmental / aging processes, psychiatric disorders, addictions / chemical dependency, dual diagnosis and other related conditions.
