Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals with disabilities and those in need of personal care. Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Monitor and document vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, and temperature as needed.
- Administer medications according to prescribed schedules and ensure proper documentation of medication administration.
- Provide patient observation to identify any changes in health or behavior and report findings to appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Support clients with mobility needs, including lifting and transferring individuals safely.
- Engage clients in social activities and provide companionship to promote emotional well-being.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by adhering to hygiene standards and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop personalized care plans tailored to individual needs.
Requirements
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is preferred.
- Experience working in group homes or nursing homes is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with working with individuals with developmental disabilities or other disabilities is a plus.
- Strong observational skills to monitor client health and behavior effectively.
- Ability to lift clients safely while following proper lifting techniques.
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures is beneficial.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
