Lifeguard

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Lifeguard to ensure the safety and well-being of all guests at our aquatic facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong swimming skills and be committed to providing excellent guest services while maintaining a clean and safe pool environment. As a Lifeguard, you will play a crucial role in preventing accidents and responding effectively to emergencies.

Duties

• Monitor pool activities to ensure the safety of all patrons and prevent accidents.
• Enforce pool rules and regulations to maintain a safe environment.
• Perform regular pool cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure cleanliness and hygiene.
• Provide first aid and CPR as necessary in emergency situations.
• Assist guests with inquiries, providing exceptional guest services.
• Conduct regular safety inspections of the pool area and equipment.
• Participate in ongoing training sessions to maintain certification and improve skills.
• Be prepared for heavy lifting when necessary, such as moving safety equipment or assisting in pool maintenance tasks.

Qualifications

• Must possess current Lifeguard certification, First Aid, and CPR certifications.
• Strong swimming skills with the ability to perform rescues if needed.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with guests and team members.
• Previous experience in guest services or a similar role is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining safety standards.
• Physical ability to perform duties that may include heavy lifting and standing for extended periods.

Pay: $15.50 - $16.50 per hour
