Maintenance Technician-

This candidate will have experience in the following categories:

· HVAC

· Heat pump

· Drywall/carpentry

· Appliance repair

· Plumbing

· Electrical

Job Responsibilities

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for assisting the Maintenance Supervisor in maintaining our beautiful community to the high expectations that we have built our success upon. Duties will include but are not limited to:

· Apartment Turns - Make ready vacant apartments for the next resident. Complete all necessary repairs as detailed on the provided Make Ready checklist.

· Work Orders - Complete all resident work orders within required timeframe.

· Custodial - Maintain a clean and safe community and clubhouse.

· Snow Removal - Ability to shovel/salt sidewalks and efficiently use a snow blower.

· Emergency On-Call-Designated on-call rotation required every 3-4 week

· Preventive Maintenance-Complete preventative service such as quality inspections and filter changes.

Training/Education

Our company provides on-site as well as on-line training for all employee’s. We also encourage our team members to attend off-site education opportunities as provided by the Apartment Association of Fort Wayne-NEI.

· High School Diploma or equivalent is required

· Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation is required

· EPA Designation/Certification is preferred
