Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the revenue cycle and ensuring accurate financial record-keeping. This position requires a solid understanding of financial concepts, making it essential for maintaining the integrity of our accounts receivable processes.
Duties
- Manage and maintain accounts receivable records, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Manage Medicare and Medicare Advantage Billing
- Process incoming payments
- Perform revenue cycle management tasks to optimize cash flow and minimize outstanding receivables.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding payment inquiries and account status, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
- Analyze accounts for discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
- Collaborate with the accounts payable team to ensure seamless financial operations.
- Assist in month-end closing procedures by reconciling accounts receivable balances.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Clerk or similar role in financial services.
- Medicare billing experience preferred
- Excellent math skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Familiarity with general financial concepts and accounting principles.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on professional phone etiquette.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
