Job Description:
As a Patient Care Front Desk Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, ensuring their visit runs smoothly from check-in to check-out. Your role will include managing patient schedules, answering inquiries, and providing a positive and professional front-office experience. You will play a crucial role in patient care coordination, office efficiency, and the overall patient experience at our dental practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Interaction:
- Greet and check-in patients as they arrive, creating a friendly and welcoming environment.
- Answer phone calls, emails, and other inquiries in a courteous, timely, and professional manner.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments, including follow-up visits, cancellations, and rescheduling.
- Collect and verify patient information, including insurance details, medical history, and other necessary forms.
- Ensure that patients are informed about their upcoming procedures and dental treatment plans.
- Administrative Support:
- Manage patient scheduling and appointment reminders to ensure optimal office flow.
- Handle patient check-out, process payments, and provide billing information as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all necessary documentation is up to date.
- Assist with insurance verification, billing inquiries, and processing claims.
- Organize patient charts and files, ensuring confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
- Office Coordination:
- Ensure smooth office operations, including maintaining a clean and organized front desk area.
- Assist with ordering office supplies and maintaining inventory as needed.
- Work closely with the dental team to ensure patient care needs are met and appointments are properly managed.
- Manage patient waitlists and ensure timely communication about appointment availability.
- Customer Service:
- Address any patient concerns or questions with a calm, empathetic approach, providing resolutions when possible.
- Provide high-level customer service to enhance patient satisfaction and encourage repeat visits.
- Maintain a professional and positive atmosphere, fostering a sense of trust and comfort for patients.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a dental office, medical office, or customer service environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and insurance is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with patients and staff.
- Ability to multitask and handle a busy office environment efficiently.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and a commitment to accuracy.
- Proficient in using office equipment (phones, computers) and dental office software (experience with dental management systems a plus).

Compensation:
Salary commensurate wth experience

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
