Job Duties
Ability to use Point of Sale computer cash register
Good Communication Skills
Able to handle a large volume of sales in a short period of time
Knowledge of National School Breakfast and Lunch Programs as they pertain to student meals
Help with inventory, put away deliveries in the storeroom, refrigerator and freezer as needed
Keep area neat, clean and organized
Stock serving line when needed with meal components
Help with washing dishes
Help prepare meals and meal components
Always help when asked
Ability to follow oral and written instructions
Ability to work effectively with food service employees, faculty,support staff and students
Must be able to stand at an assigned location and work continuously for extended periods of time utilizing assigned kitchen or serving equipment. Must be able to carry, lift, move or put away food, supplies and equipment weighing up to 40 pounds. Must have the stamina necessary for the efficient performance of duties.
Rate of Pay: $16.75/hr.
