What are the responsibilities and job description for the Special Education Tutor (Part-Time) position at Windsor Public Schools?
- Implement students goals and objectives as in accordance with IEP and Special Education Case Managers of the Off Site Programming at LPW
- Utilize appropriate instructional materials
- Provide instruction and support to students assigned
- Progress monitor student performance
- Assist with assessments (classroom and district-wide)
- Communicate progress to classroom teacher/special education case manager
- Other duties as assigned by Pupil and Special Education Services and/or Dean of Students
- Provide behavior support/implement behavior support plans
- Support students with social emotional needs
- Assist in supervision of students in expulsion program (grades 6-12)

Experience working with students in an alternative/ self- contained setting preferred and/or demonstrated ability to make connections and provide academic support for such students.
