We’re seeking a driven, self-directed leader with a proven track record managing complex software implementations for external clients to join our team as a Project Manager.
In this role, you’ll be a front-line champion of change and a key partner in this mission - guiding agencies through transformative, technology-driven environmental initiatives. You’ll lead the full lifecycle of our software implementations—from project kickoff through post-deployment support—ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery and long-term client success.

What You'll Do
- Project Planning & Execution: Develop detailed schedules, manage milestones, and ensure projects stay on track.
- Client Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, translating their needs into project goals and ensuring satisfaction throughout.
- Client Partnership: Serve as a strategic partner, maintaining client trust and promoting successful product adoption.
- Scope & Risk Management: Keep project scope tightly managed and proactively identify and mitigate risks.
- Budget Oversight: Monitor and control costs to ensure projects are delivered within budget.
- Team Leadership: Guide cross-functional teams, assign tasks, resolve blockers, and keep everyone aligned and motivated during full lifecycle software implementation projects and in post-launch support.
- Quality & Performance Tracking: Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and track project KPIs for continuous improvement.
- Communication: Facilitate effective communication across stakeholders through meetings, updates, and documentation.
- Mentorship: Support staff through coaching and performance feedback.
- You have a proven track record of leading software implementations with clarity, precision, and a strong focus on client success in a consulting or client-facing delivery role.
- You excel at quickly building lasting, trust-based client relationships, creating rapport and credibility with stakeholders at all levels.
- You’ve successfully guided teams through complex legacy system transitions and system overhauls.
- You take a thoughtful, hands-on approach to conflict resolution, stakeholder alignment, and motivation.
- You bring a deep understanding of both technical systems and business processes, translating needs into effective solutions.
- You embrace a continuous improvement mindset, always seeking smarter, more efficient ways to work.
- You’re comfortable with ambiguity and complexity, breaking down big-picture goals into focused, achievable steps.

Key Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5 years of experience managing full lifecycle software implementation projects
- Experience in consulting or client-facing roles
- Demonstrated experience delivering projects on time and on budget
- Exceptional facilitation and written/verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated experience working directly with clients
- Strong organizational and time management capabilities
- Experience working with environmental or regulatory compliance software
- Experience working with or within government agencies
- Skilled in Agile methodologies, Scrum, and using tools like JIRA
- Current PMP certification peferred
- You enjoy working in fast-paced, mission-driven environments and love bringing structure to complexity.
