We are seeking two K-8 School Based Elementary Special Education Teachers and a K-12
Special Education Teacher primarily for case management for the 2025-2026 School
Year
Summary: To provide direct services to students individually or in small groups in compliance
with IEP goals.
Qualifications: Vermont Special Education licensure K-8, K-12 or eligibility for licensure
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Remedial literacy and math instruction, curriculum planning, trauma informed practices, case
management experience, and student-centered practices are highly desirable traits.
● Demonstrated commitment to collaboration with all school staff and families
● Qualified candidates will document a strong work ethic
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills
● Proven instructional skills
● Interest, willingness, and/or experience integrating and advancing practices of diversity,
equity and inclusion
● Literacy and math instruction and curriculum planning within specialized instruction
● Trauma informed practices
● student-centered IEP implementation.
● Implementation of the special education process, from evaluations through IEP
● Case management in alignment with special education rules and regulations.
● Experience with working with students with a broad range of learning profiles
including Autism, learning impairments, and specific learning disabilities.
