Registered Occupational Therapist of Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

We are currently seeking a full time licensed OTR/L to provide direct services to students throughout the SU, individually or in small groups in compliance with IEP goals for the 2025-2026 academic year.
Summary: To provide direct services to students individually or in small groups in compliance with IEP goals.
Qualifications: Certified by the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy, testing certificates and licenses. Must be certified or certifiable. A Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant with school experience may also be considered based on supervisory requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•Direct therapy services
•Evaluations of students in the special education or MTSS process
•Consultation with educational staff
•Writing IEP goal objectives, Medicaid logs, and progress reports
•Interest, willingness, and/or experience integrating and advancing practices of diversity, equity, and inclusion
•Implementation of student programs in accordance with special education rules and regulations
The successful candidate will have:
•A strong understanding of sensory integration framework experience working in a school setting preferred.
•Development of classroom strategies to use with students in an inclusive environment.
