Job Title: Quality Inspector - Electronics Manufacturing

Job Summary: The Quality Inspector is responsible for ensuring that electronic components, assemblies, and finished products meet established quality standards and specifications. This role involves conducting visual inspections, performing tests, and documenting results to maintain product integrity and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
· Conduct visual inspections of electronic assemblies, printed circuit boards (PCBs), and related components to identify defects such as soldering issues, misalignment, or contamination.
· Perform functional testing on electronic products to verify performance and compliance with technical specifications.
· Utilize measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and multimeters to inspect dimensions, electrical properties, and other key characteristics.
· Follow established inspection criteria, quality control procedures, and company standards.
· Document inspection results, including non-conformance reports (NCRs) and corrective action recommendations.
· Collaborate with production staff to identify root causes of defects and implement corrective actions.
· Ensure compliance with industry standards such as IPC-A-610 and ISO 9001.
· Participate in internal audits and support external audit processes as needed.
· Maintain detailed records of inspection results and prepare reports for management.
· Train production team members on quality control best practices when required.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in electronics or quality control preferred.
· Minimum 2 years of experience in a quality inspection role within an electronics manufacturing environment.
· Strong knowledge of IPC standards for electronic assemblies.
· Familiarity with electronic components, schematics, and assembly processes.
· Ability to use inspection tools such as microscopes, magnifiers, and digital measurement devices.
· Excellent attention to detail and strong documentation skills.
· Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
· Understanding of ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) control measures is a plus.
Working Conditions:
· Frequent standing, walking, and manual handling of electronic assemblies.
· Use of protective equipment such as ESD wrist straps or gloves may be required.
· Work may involve occasional overtime to meet production deadlines.
