Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Assurance Manager to oversee our quality assurance processes and ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality. This role involves leading a team, implementing quality control measures, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Duties
- Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards.
- Conduct regular audits of production processes and systems to identify areas for improvement.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments and coordinate measuring machines for accurate data collection and analysis.
- Lead the QA/QC team in performing quality inspections and utilizing vision inspection systems to assess product quality.
- Manage the calibration of equipment and ensure that all measuring devices are maintained according to company standards.
- Collaborate with production teams to fabricate solutions that enhance product quality and efficiency.
- Train staff on quality assurance practices, procedures, and the use of Calypso software for data analysis.
- Prepare detailed reports on quality metrics, trends, and areas requiring attention or improvement.
Experience
- Proven experience in a Quality Assurance role, preferably within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and experience implementing these practices within an organization.
- Familiarity with quality inspection techniques, including vision inspection systems and precision measuring instruments.
- Experience with data collection methods and analysis tools such as Calypso is highly desirable.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams towards achieving quality goals.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
