Obsidian Security was founded in 2017 to solve the unaddressed blindspot of SaaS Security. SaaS applications provide the tools employees need to succeed and hold the business’ most critical information. If those tools become unavailable or that data is jeopardized, there is a detrimental impact on the organization.

Obsidian proudly offers the industry's most comprehensive and powerful SaaS defense solution. We are committed to solving the challenge of SaaS Security for our customers as efficiently and effectively as possible.

We’re a passionate team optimizing for impact by solving some of the biggest challenges in cybersecurity today. We listen closely to our customers, iterate quickly, and (over) deliver to delight them. Working at Obsidian means contributing to an industry-leading cybersecurity product in an environment where customer satisfaction, privacy, and data ethics are paramount.

About The Team

You will work with customers and internal stakeholders to build data-driven intelligence into Obsidian's product and operations. Job Description

As a Partner Product Manager at Obsidian Security, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our cybersecurity platform by focusing on the needs of our valued partners. You will be the primary liaison between Obsidian's product team and our partner ecosystem, understanding their unique requirements and translating them into actionable product improvements. This role requires a strong understanding of the cybersecurity landscape, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to collaborate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders. You will be responsible for defining, prioritizing, and delivering product enhancements that empower our partners to leverage the Obsidian platform effectively and provide exceptional value to their own customers.

  • Gather and analyze partner feedback, market trends, and competitive intelligence to identify areas for product improvement and innovation.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders (engineering, sales, marketing, customer success) to define product requirements, prioritize features, and develop a comprehensive product roadmap.
  • Synthesize research and knowledge into a clear and concise product roadmap that aligns with Obsidian's overall strategic objectives and addresses partner needs.
  • Communicate product updates, roadmaps, and best practices to partners through various channels (e.g., webinars, documentation, direct communication).
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key partner stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor and advocate.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to partner satisfaction and product usage, identifying areas for improvement and driving necessary changes.
  • Contribute to the development of partner enablement materials, training programs, and other resources.
  • Work with internal teams to ensure product releases are effectively communicated and supported for our partners.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience in the cybersecurity industry, with a strong understanding of security technologies and market trends.
  • Proven track record of successfully working with external teams (partners, customers, vendors) to build and deliver products.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with internal cross-functional teams (engineering, sales, marketing, etc.).
  • Experience in product management, including defining product strategy, gathering requirements, and managing product roadmaps.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Business) or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with SaaS platforms and APIs.
  • Familiarity with cloud security concepts and technologies.
  • Experience in a partner-facing role.
