- Ride along with field adjusters; provide direction and technical assistance, as needed.
- Provide assistance to FPCS field adjusters, focusing on timely claim handling and adherence to claims guidelines and state regulations.
- Act as a technical resource to the team.
- Review claim files and provide quality feedback to field adjusters.
- Identify, evaluate, and analyze problem areas impacting customer service on claims.
- Assist FPCS Senior Claims Manager in the evaluation of field adjuster’s skills and ability in handling and investigating claims.
- Work with FPCS Senior Claims Manager in recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and training of field adjusters.
- Fill in for FPCS Senior Claims Manager when needed.
- Assist with Catastrophe field claims management. Required to work extended hours in the event of a Catastrophe (CAT).
Required Education and Experience:
- Florida licensed All-Lines adjuster (620).
- 5 years of residential (homeowner’s) property field claim experience required.
- Demonstrated leadership ability.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to adapt to shifting priorities, effectively handle and prioritize multiple projects/tasks in order to meet deadlines.
- Must have strong computer skills utilizing Microsoft Office and Xactimate estimating program.
- 5 years of claims management experience required.
