Artist (Instructor/Art Event Paint Show Leader)

Job Summary
We are seeking a creative and talented Artist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong artistic vision, excellent communication skills and the ability to bring ideas to life through various mediums. This role requires a passion for design and a commitment to producing high-quality artwork, engaging with customers/clients with our brand's identity and goals. The Artist will collaborate with other team members to develop visual concepts, create illustrations, and contribute to digital projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead paint & sip parties (includes preparation, execution, and conclusion) in studio and on wheels
• Prepare sketched canvasses
• Lead DIY workshops
• Engage with customers to promote bookings.
• Develop original artwork and illustrations based on project requirements and creative briefs.
• Collaborate with other team members to conceptualize and execute visual designs.
• Complete studio chores
• Illustrate concepts through sketches, storyboards, or mockups as needed.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in graphic design and digital art.
• Provide art direction for projects, guiding the overall visual style and execution.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

Skills

• Proficiency in Graphic Design software (Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Excellent illustration skills with the ability to adapt styles as needed.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of quality in all work produced.
• Effective communication skills for collaborating within a team environment and providing step-by-step instruction.

Job Types: Part-time, Internship

Pay: $17.13 - $18.79 per hour

Expected hours: 3 – 6 per week

Schedule:

• Nights as needed
• Weekends as needed
