Job Overview:
We are seeking dedicated Servers to join our team. As a Server, you will play a key role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring a memorable dining experience for our guests.
Duties:
- Greet and seat customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Present menus and explain daily specials to customers
- Take food and beverage orders accurately
- Serve food and drinks promptly
- Check on customers to ensure satisfaction with their meals
- Process payments and operate the POS system efficiently
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
Requirements:
- Prior experience in the food industry is preferred
- Familiarity withTOAST POS or similar POS systems is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell menu items
- Knowledge of sanitation guidelines in handling food and beverages
- Basic math skills for handling payments and making change
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure
- Experience with OpenTable or reservation systems is advantageous
- Culinary knowledge or interest in food preparation is beneficial
- Sales skills to promote menu items and enhance the dining experience
