Description
JOB PURPOSE
Oversee the management and compliance of export control documents, licenses, and other forms for
suppliers within the Defense Industrial Base (DIB). This role ensures all processes meet regulatory
standards, coordinating with cross-functional departments to uphold security requirements and
compliance measures.
This role is ideal for highly organized individuals with a background in business, legal studies, supply chain,
cybersecurity, or regulatory compliance—or those with a strong desire to develop expertise in these
areas.
This is a learning-based role. While prior experience in ITAR, EAR, JCP, and related regulations is a plus,
we are looking for a highly motivated individual who can quickly develop expertise in these areas with
training and on-the-job experience.
STRUCTURE
This position is in-office at our Jacksonville offices. The role reports to the IT Director and has no direct
reports.
RESPONSIBILITY

Maintain Joint Certification Program (JCP) certifications for all sites, ensuring they remain valid
and up-to-date. -
Collaborate with legal counsel and other consultants to ensure accurate marking and export
classification of products, in compliance with ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) and
EAR (Export Administration Regulations). -
Work with the IT department to ensure correct data flows throughout the organization,
supporting security protocols and regulatory requirements. -
Utilize the Descartes system to screen and vet contractors, visitors, and clients to ensure they
meet security and export control requirements. -
Administer and oversee security-related training programs within the Learning Management
System (LMS), ensuring up-to-date content that complies with organizational and regulatory
standards. -
Review access logs to support the separation of duties and ensure data integrity.

Collaborate with the IT team to review security controls and support compliance efforts, ensuring
adherence to NIST 800-171 and CMMC standards. -
Manage documentation and the development of security-related policies, guidance, and
procedures. Document and implement NIST-800-171/CMMC controls and processes, ensuring full
compliance with applicable frameworks.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident (Green Card holder), or a "protected person" under 8
U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3). Not debarred under ITAR or EAR regulations. -
Commitment to staying updated with evolving regulations in security policy, including changes
to CMMC, GDPR, ITAR, and EAR regulations. -
Associate’s or Bachelors degree in relevant field such as Business Administration,
Communications, Political Science, Legal Studies or substantial relevant experience. -
Background in International Trade, Export Control or other Compliance fields a plus

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

Regulatory & Compliance Aptitude – Ability to quickly learn and apply U.S. and international
export control regulations (e.g., ITAR, EAR, JCP) and cybersecurity compliance frameworks (e.g.,
NIST 800-171, CMMC). -
Data Privacy Laws: Knowledge of global privacy regulations, including GDPR, and how they affect
export control and data flow. -
Risk Management: Understanding of risk assessments, mitigation strategies, and how to
implement risk management within compliance frameworks. -
Attention to Detail: Meticulous in tracking documentation, certifications, and compliance with
complex regulations. -
Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines for
audits, certifications, and reporting are met. -
Document Management: Knowledge of managing sensitive documentation in accordance with
security protocols and regulatory requirements. -
Excellent command of the English language, both verbal and written.
