Description
Responsibilities for All Levels:
- Follow detailed work instructions and adhere to production schedules.
- Clean and prepare assembly surfaces using appropriate tools and materials.
- Assemble parts using adhesives, rollers, stitchers, and other equipment.
- Operate necessary tools and equipment, including heat guns, with proper safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation free from Foreign Object Debris (FOD).
- Identify and promptly report any quality concerns to supervisors.
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety and production standards.
Level 1 Assembly Associate Responsibilities:
- Perform basic assembly tasks, including cleaning surfaces, marking part placements with pencils, and assembling pre-cut materials.
- Learn and use basic tools, adhesives, and equipment effectively.
- Assist in maintaining production flow by completing assigned tasks accurately and on time.
- Actively participate in training sessions to build foundational assembly skills.
Level 2 Assembly Associate Responsibilities:
- Handle advanced assembly tasks, such as integrating multiple components and employing specialized adhesive techniques.
- Conduct initial quality checks on assembled parts and collaborate with the Quality team to address defects.
- Assist in onboarding and training Level 1 Associates, demonstrating proper use of tools and techniques.
- Suggest and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve quality.
- Troubleshoot minor assembly issues and propose solutions to ensure production continuity.
Level 3 Assembly Associate Responsibilities:
- Oversee the entire assembly process to ensure production targets and quality standards are met.
- Execute the most challenging tasks, requiring deep knowledge of materials, equipment, and techniques.
- Lead initiatives to improve assembly efficiency, including workflow optimizations, waste reduction, and quality enhancements.
- Provide mentorship to Level 1 and Level 2 Associates, fostering a collaborative and productive team environment.
- Work closely with the Quality Lead to identify and resolve issues, ensuring only top-quality products move forward in the production line.
- Act as a point of contact for complex troubleshooting, offering guidance and support to associates and supervisors.

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify process inefficiencies.
- Level 3:
- 2 years of experience in an advanced assembly role.
- Proven ability to lead and mentor associates at various skill levels.
- Demonstrated expertise in advanced techniques, tools, and materials.
- Strong communication skills to facilitate collaboration with associates and supervisors.
