Job Summary
As a Business Intelligence and Data Analyst , you will be responsible for analyzing complex data sets, extracting meaningful insights, and providing data-driven recommendations that influence business strategies. You will develop and maintain BI reports and dashboards to enhance decision-making across the organization. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will ensure seamless data integration, transformation, and visualization. Your expertise in spreadsheets, BI tools, SaaS platforms, and SQL will be critical in optimizing business reporting processes and analytical frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis : Analyze and interpret large datasets to identify trends, generate insights, and support business decision-making through comprehensive report creation and analysis.
Reporting and Visualization : Develop detailed reporting and interactive dashboards to effectively communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
BI Tools Expertise : Utilize BI tools to automate reporting, create dashboards, and improve data accessibility.
Collaboration : Work closely with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements, ensure data accuracy, and develop BI-driven solutions. Collaborate with data engineers and developers to ensure that the data infrastructure efficiently delivers the necessary data for reporting.
Process Improvement : Continuously optimize data analytics strategies to improve data reliability, efficiency, and quality.
Stakeholder Engagement : Engage with department heads and external partners to understand business needs and deliver tailored insights.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Education : Bachelor's or Masters degree in a quantitative or technical field, such as Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science or Information Systems.
Experience : Minimum 3 years in a data analysis or business intelligence role.
Data Manipulation Expertise : Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets , including complex formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization .
BI Tools Experience : Proficiency in one or more widely used BI tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker Studio, QlikSense, or similar.
SQL Proficiency : Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries, manipulating large datasets, and executing ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
Programming Skills : Experience with Python and R for statistical analysis and visualization is a plus.
Analytical & Communication Skills : Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities. Ability to present data in a clear and compelling way.
