Responsibilities
- Operate the cash register and process customer transactions efficiently and accurately.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and addressing concerns.
- Upsell products and promote special offers to enhance the customer shopping experience.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a well-organized sales floor and stock shelves as needed.
- Ensure the cash register is balanced at the end of each shift and report any discrepancies.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area.
- Assist in inventory management by restocking items and keeping track of stock levels.
Requirements
- Previous experience in cashiering is preferred but not required.
