About the Role :
Wing is looking for an Associate General Counsel to join our Legal Team based in Palo Alto, CA . As Commercial Counsel at Wing, you'll tackle exciting legal challenges at the forefront of drone delivery services. You'll collaborate with teams across the company to shape innovative solutions and work with cutting-edge aviation technology as you streamline processes and shape Wing's future.
What You'll Do :
- Lead Strategic Legal Initiatives : Develop and drive high-impact legal projects that shape Wing's commercial strategy and influence company-wide decision-making.
- Provide Expert Legal Counsel : Advise senior management and cross-functional teams on a wide range of legal matters, including complex agreements, intellectual property, data privacy, regulatory compliance, and strategic transactions.
- Oversee Commercial Transactions : Lead the review, drafting, and negotiation of a diverse portfolio of agreements, including inbound services, SaaS, software licenses, partnerships, and strategic alliances. Ensure agreements are aligned with Wing's business objectives, policies, and risk tolerance.
- Drive Operational Excellence : Centralize and standardize procurement processes across Wing, implementing best practices and improving efficiency. Develop and implement scalable legal processes to support Wing's rapid growth.
- Manage Legal Risk : Proactively identify and mitigate legal risks, providing guidance on compliance with US and international laws related to privacy, data protection, employment, and intellectual property.
What You'll Need :
