We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Head Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in custodial and industrial cleaning, with a strong background in floor care and maintaining cleanliness standards in hotel or hospitality settings.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and helping to manage the housekeeping staff, ensuring all rooms and public areas are cleaned to the highest standards
- Train new housekeeping employees on cleaning procedures and safety protocols
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction and resolve any housekeeping-related issues promptly
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as needed
- Inspect rooms and public areas to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards
Requirements:
- Proven experience in custodial, industrial cleaning, floor care, and general housekeeping management
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment
- Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality setting is preferred
