Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry professional to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for our guests. The ideal candidate will possess strong hospitality skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and laundry facilities to meet established standards of cleanliness.
- Handle laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and guest clothing.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and properly maintained.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures while using cleaning equipment and chemicals.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Maintain an organized storage area for cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Assist with floor care tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding to guest requests in a timely manner.
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality or custodial roles is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques and equipment is a plus.
- Experience in hotel housekeeping management is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
