Job Purpose: Effectively lead hotel staff, while promoting excellent guest relations, to achieve business goals for a 75-room mid-range, highly-rated Wyndham property in Salisbury, MD.
REQUIRED DUTIES:
* Lead Staff: Hiring, Training and Managing
* Lead Operations: Ensure Proper Execution of Business Plan by Adherence to SOPs
* Lead Business Development: Target and Execute Marketing and Sales Efforts
* Manage Reputation: Respond Promptly to All Reviews, Surveys, and Guest Issues
* Manage Expenses· Schedule Staff Shifts, Assign Daily Tasks, and Order Supplies
* Analyze Business: Identify Opportunities to Increase Occupancy, ADR, and RevPAR
* Room Condition: Ensure all rooms are guest ready by checking rooms on a daily basis
* Other Tasks: Acts for Owner whenever Owner is not present or as assigned
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
* Active and effective written and oral communicator
* Fluent in Excel, Word, Email, and Hotel business processes
* Effective sales person
* Multi-tasking problem solver
* Effective trainer
* Good with numbers
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Likes people, nice person
* 2 years of Manager experience
* Can work 5-6 days per week
* Sense of urgency – commitment to get things done
Plus Qualifications:
* Prior Hotel or Hotel AGM experience
* Demonstrated competency in using Wyndham PMS (SynXis)
* Certified Pool Operator
