Duties
- Prepare and cook breakfast items according to established recipes and food safety standards.
- Set up the breakfast area, including arranging food displays and ensuring all items are stocked and presentable.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, kitchen, and equipment, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Operate kitchen equipment such as grills, ovens, and knives safely and efficiently.
- Assist guests with their breakfast needs, providing friendly service and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Handle cash register transactions accurately when necessary, utilizing POS systems effectively.
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food items.
- Monitor food quality and freshness, discarding any expired or spoiled items.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a hotel or restaurant setting is preferred but not mandatory.
