This role involves managing front desk operations, assisting guests with check-in and check-out processes, and addressing inquiries to enhance their overall experience at our hotel or resort.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Manage the check-in and check-out process efficiently, ensuring accuracy in guest information.
- Handle reservations, cancellations, and modifications using hotel management software.
- Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions to enhance guest relations.
- Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
- Maintain an organized front desk area, including managing phone systems and responding to calls professionally.
- Assist with night audit procedures as required, ensuring accurate financial reporting.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are ready for occupancy.
- Uphold hotel policies and procedures while maintaining a positive environment for both guests and staff.
Experience
- Previous experience in a front desk or customer service role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of hotel management systems is advantageous.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills are essential for effective guest interactions.
- Familiarity with night audit processes is a plus but not mandatory.
- A background in hospitality management or related fields will be considered an asset.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
