Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Groundskeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the overall appearance of the hotel including but not limited to emptying garbages, vacuuming stairs and hallways. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, along with outside work. The Groundskeeper will ensure that all grounds are kept clean, safe, and aesthetically pleasing.
Responsibilities
- Perform regular lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, and fertilizing to maintain healthy grass.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for various landscaping tasks.
- Ensuring the entrances are kept clean, safe, and aesthetically pleasing.
- Maintain cleanliness of all grounds by removing debris and litter.
- Follow safety protocols while operating equipment and handling materials.
Skills
- Proficient in groundskeeping techniques including landscape maintenance and lawn care.
- Knowledgeable in irrigation systems and garden care practices.
- Experience using both power tools (e.g., lawn mowers, trimmers) and hand tools (e.g., shovels, rakes).
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and aesthetics.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various weather conditions.
- Good physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks effectively throughout the day.
