Hourly rate : $32.00-$36.00 / hour
Shift : 8-hour shift, M-F & on-call. Flexibility is required as shiftpatterns may change based on the needs of the property.
As a Maintenance Supervisor , you will lead themaintenance efforts for the community, utilizing your diverse skill set toensure our properties are in top condition and meet the satisfaction of bothownership and residents. Under the direction of the Senior Maintenance Supervisorand Property Manager, your responsibilities will include :
- Supervising and leading the maintenance team to ensure timely, efficient completion of tasks.
- Managing service requests, prioritizing work, and developing daily schedules for maintenance staff.
- Maintaining accurate records of service requests and work completed.
- Developing vendor contracts, obtaining competitive bids, and managing 3rd party service providers.
- Overseeing preventative maintenance programs and ensuring all maintenance schedules are met.
- Performing regular property inspections to identify and resolve issues before they become problems.
- Assisting in move-in and move-out procedures for residents.
- Handling emergency repairs, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC systems, and appliance maintenance.
- Ensuring that maintenance staff follows safety guidelines and practices.
- Keeping the workshop / utility room clean and safe according to OSHA standards.
- Supervising and training new maintenance staff, ensuring they meet quality standards.
- Coordinating on-call maintenance schedules for weekends and holidays.
