Maintenance Director
JOB PURPOSE: Maintenance of facility and equipment, including preventive maintenance and urgent repair needs. Provides counsel to management regarding facility issues.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Must have knowledge of general maintenance and functions of all equipment.
- Must carry beeper and respond to maintenance call
- Must be able to write and read with clarity sufficient to follow instructions.
- Must demonstrate neat appearance and good personal hygiene.
- Must read, know and follow personnel, department, and facility policies.
- Must know how to turn off main power supply, water supply, and/or gas supply to facility.
- Must be able to see small details, in equipment, machinery, etc.
- Must be knowledgeable of Exposure Control Plan for Bloodborne Pathogens and Fire & Disaster Plan, and follow policies and procedures.
SUPERVISION OF OTHERS: Supervises staff members in maintenance and grounds keeping.
