Wings residents receive services from a multidisciplinary in-house care team including Mental Health Professionals, Addiction Counselors, Social Workers, Nursing Professionals, Case Managers, Fitness & Nutrition Coaches, Yoga Instructors, Residential Support Staff, and Mentors.

Position Description:
Licensed Drug and Alcohol Counselor (LADC): Wings LADCs experience a thoughtful division of labor, including a delegation of tasks plan that maximizes the counselor’s ability to make an impact on the youth they serve. Wings LADCs experience opportunities to develop impactful, boundaried attachments with clients by delivering services in a setting structured for client stability, thus increasing the likelihood of positive therapeutic response. Wings LADCs are provided weekly on-site individual supervision, paid off site training opportunities, and an abundance of resources to position the counselor for success.

Qualifications:
- The applicant must hold an ADC-T or LADC license or be capable of achieving licensure within the next 6 months.
- Ability to pass a MN DHS background study

- Have a passion for providing counseling services to youth between the ages of 13-18.
Preferred Qualifications Include:
- Experience working with adolescents
- Experience working with co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders
- Additional Licenses: LICSW, LMFT, or LPCC

- Ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary team members
- Willingness and capability to effectively communicate with residents, residents’ guardians, and residents’ external care team.
- Social, boundary, and attachment skills necessary to develop caring relationships with clients
